Residential Treatment
Sierra Council's South Placer Residential Treatment Program, located in Auburn is a 32-bed residential treatment program which provides detoxification and residential substance abuse treatment services for adults. Our treatment philosophy is based on a social model in which services are highly structured, focused on individual strengths, and supports social interaction with other program participants.
Our staff will work with you to engage in treatment services and work as a partner to guide you on your individual journey.
Our focus is on empowering you to develop a healthy lifestyle and meet the goals which you have identified in your assessment process. All treatment services are individually tailored to meet your specific needs.
We also provide healthy physical and recreational activities to nurture the developmental process of recovery.
Our program includes individual and group counseling processes. We also offer educational groups that will provide you with knowledge and skills necessary as you make a commitment to enter a life of recovery. Beginning at entry to our program, counselors address with you plans for aftercare, also guiding you to develop coping skills, and a recovery maintenance program.
Sierra Council also provides treatment support to family members of program participants to further help you and your family. Family members are encouraged to attend multi-family group sessions each week. We encourage you to include your family in your treatment process. Counselors are also available for individual family sessions to support individual treatment plan goals.
We have a large ongoing alumni group that meets weekly at no additional cost once you have completed our program.
